Manufacturing Process of Transfer Printing
Printing by using transfer printing papers is simple for the textile industry; however
creation and technical preparations are complicated, extensive and expensive for
the transfer paper manufacturer. After designing and the printing form, plenty of
techniques are used until the desired pattern is printed on papers. Ink colours
that we use are the highest quality in the world and are environmental friendly.
Modified dyes and printing inks are derived from a group or organic dyes; the ground
paper is very light and is almost 20-50g/m2. The paper that we print has 160 cm
width and ends right at the footage ordered. It is rolled for 500m and 1000m. Printing
indications range between 195 °C and 240 °C 20 with 30 seconds printing time depending
on the type and weight of the textile to be printed. The procedure, which has originally
been developed for polyester usage, is also used for synthetic mixtures, natural
fibre mixtures and other synthetic fibres successfully. The most recent fabrics
such as micro-fibre have proven eligibility for transfer printing and expand the
field of application.
